I address those questions with modern research and specialized training so you can feel safe and self-assured as you practice the movement you love.

MEET ALEXANDRA

Hi, I'm Alexandra, and thanks for visiting NAVE! I'm passionate about helping fellow mothers achieve holistic fitness and wellness solutions. I created this business to address the lack of information available to women on how they can safely strengthen their bodies during pregnancy and in the days, months and years afterward.

 

When I was pregnant with my oldest son, I struggled to find clear, credible guidance on how to exercise safely and in a way that would best prepare me for birth and motherhood. Most guidance focused on "what not to do" rather than how to grow physically and mindfully stronger while preventing injuries like diastasis recti. NAVE aims to bring you knowledge to apply in any movement practice, so you're not left feeling uncertain during such an important time in your life.

 

I'm a Fit for Birth certified pre- and post-natal corrective exercise specialist based in Austin, Texas. My 20+ years of classical ballet training underpins my love for movement and fitness. Now, my day-to-day practice includes functional training, Pilates, barre and yoga.
